Old job list

Jobs I Used To Do

I am not really taking new customers right now. This is a list of the kinds of small jobs I used to handle when somebody had a loose thing and did not want it becoming a whole neighborhood event.

Mostly doors, cabinets, shelves, fixtures, and hardware that would not stay where it belonged. I was usually more useful with a screwdriver than a big project, but sometimes the small thing had turned into a whole situation by the time I got there.

Doors and hinges

Sticky doors, loose knobs, hinges that sound like a barn movie, and one porch door that needed more attention than it ADMITTED. I can be gentle first and firmer if the screw is lying.

Garage help

Sweeping, sorting, shelf moving, and personal garage visits where the item you bought twice is hiding under a tarp with no shame.

Cabinets and shelves

Leveling, tightening, brackets, and standing there while someone says it never did THAT before, which is what every cabinet says through a person. Good for loose pulls, bad catches, and things that open when they should stay closed.

Fixtures and little hardware

Small installs, tightening, pressure checks, towel bars, seats, sprayers, rods, and stopping a shelf from making threats. Usually simple except when the room starts having opinions.

If I open things back up I will say so. For now this is notes, memories, and hardware truth. No roofs in rain. No pianos. No jobs where someone says the word "quick" too many times. No promises after midnight unless a hinge is actually in TROUBLE.
